This being the second year our daughter has performed; it's amazing her excitement continues each year. Her self-confidence and creativity have grown each year that she has participated. I think it is a wonderful activity that has been put forth. My wife and I believe there should be more programs like this one. Please continue the good work; children definitely need another outlet for their creativity.

My husband love it, and said it was so much more enjoyable than when we saw the nutcracker years ago at the Wang Center in Boston (he wasn't kidding, he fell asleep back then). The Children's Dance Theater Connection has become a very important and valued part of our lives.
Students are encouraged to be creative, learn the art of theater, learn the technical aspects of dance and most importantly they learn to share themselves with others.
The performance at the Southington Library was one of my favorites. It was so fulfilling to bring our magic to our own young audience in town. The outreach portion of CDTC is the most important factor for us.
My husband John, my oldest daughter Erin and I always volunteer for each and every production. It is such a great feeling to have the whole family involved in such a meaningful endeavor. This has been a great experience for the kids. My daughter can be very shy and was frightened to be on stage before, but not with this program. I think it's great that this can be offered to the children! My daughter enjoys being part of CDTC, she gets very excited, every one of us enjoys watching the performances. Great thanks to Ms. Pat and her crew for outreaching to the kids. The Children's Dance Theater Connection is a great organization that provided so many children with the opportunity to participate in dance lessons and performances who would not otherwise have such an experience. Pat Martin has a great manner with the children. She makes them feel comfortable with the dance and prepares them for a fantastic performance. The work the Children's Dance Theater Connection does provides a great service to the city and the children who live in it. ~ Beth M. This year will be my daughter's 3rd with CDTC. This organization has benefited my daughter in numerous ways, most importantly-increasing her self-confidence and fostering the growth of her love of dance and theatre. As a Southington citizen, I also feel it is important support this non-profit children-to-children organization and to allow the citizens to benefit from the wonderful work of CDTC. Just wanted to thank you for all your time, effor and patience working with my daughter and the rest of the cast for "A Children's Nutcracker." My daughter had a wonderful time participating in the production and she so enjoyed being a Sprite. My family and I loved the show as well . . . the little ones are absolutely precious on stage. You and your staff are angels . . . you inspire us all . . . keep dancing to the beat!!

This program has been great for (my daughter). Her little sister is hoping to join next year. For every show she's been in (I think this is no. 6) she is excited and it gives her a sense of accomplishment.
